The Intersection of Race, Income & Enviormental Policies

Anisah  is a junior  at Wesleyan University, majoring  in American Studies and double minoring in Caribbean Studies and Human Rights Advocacy. She works for the city of Middletown as the local interagency coordinator and as a board memeber for the Hartford Promise.She is devoted to advocating for social justice and actively involved in environmental anti-colonial and gentrification initiatives. She selected her research topic based on her interest with environmental colonialism and the intersection of race and income within that context.
