Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between one’s level of education and subsequent beliefs on the state of racial equality in the United States. A major question from this project was whether individuals were more or less likely to believe in such a state of racial equality, depending on their highest education level obtained. While the level of belief also varies across racial groups, conceptual models show a strong negative correlation between educational level and belief in such a point of racial equality.
